AppKomp — Privacy Policy

AppKomp ("the app") is an app-management tool. This policy explains what the app does and does not do with your information.

Summary

AppKomp contains no advertising and no accounts. The only data that leaves your device is anonymous crash reports and anonymous usage statistics (which screens and features are used), sent to Google Firebase. You can switch this off at any time in Settings → Privacy. Your list of installed apps and the app files you extract or share never leave your device.

Information the app accesses

To do its job, AppKomp reads information that already exists on your device:

• The list of apps installed on your device, including each app's name, package name, version, size, and installer. This is used solely to display your apps so you can back them up, share them, inspect them, or reinstall them. This information is processed entirely on your device and is never transmitted, uploaded, or shared with us or any third party.
• App package (APK / app-bundle) files that you choose to extract, share, or install. These files are handled locally at your request.

The app does not access your contacts, location, camera, microphone, messages, photos, accounts, or any other personal data.

Crash reports and usage statistics

The app uses Firebase Crashlytics and Firebase Analytics (Google LLC).

• Crash reports: if the app crashes, a report with the stack trace, app version, device model, OS version and a random installation identifier is sent so we can fix the bug.
• Usage statistics: anonymous events such as "app detail opened", "share started" or "settings viewed", plus the device form factor (phone, tablet or TV). Events never include app names, package names, file names or file contents.
• Data is encrypted in transit, stored by Google on our behalf, and retained for up to 14 months (Analytics) / 90 days (Crashlytics).
• We do not use advertising identifiers and do not sell or share this data with anyone other than Google as our processor.
• Opt out any time: Settings → Privacy → "Anonymous usage & crash reports". When off, nothing is sent. To request deletion of previously sent data, email the address below with your app version and approximate install date.

Permissions

• Internet / network state — used only by the crash-reporting and usage statistics service described above. The app never uploads app files or your installed-app list.
• Query all packages — to list your installed apps (the app's core purpose).
• Request install packages — to install an app you explicitly received or chose to reinstall; Android shows a confirmation screen for every install.
• Request delete packages — to uninstall an app you select; Android shows a confirmation screen for every uninstall.

Children

The app does not collect any data from anyone, including children.

Changes

If this policy changes, the updated version will be published at this URL with a new "last updated" date.
